The problems involved in importing cheese to Switzerland from the EU! Direct to Germany from the UK it will be cheaper but most of our cheese is comparable in price to Neals Yard in London - and we're getting cheaper all the time.

Yeah, that's the price you pay for real cheese even in the UK. Good-quality cheese will always cost more than the plastic stuff, and your conversion into euros isn't entirely fair because everything is more expensive in Switzerland.

Keep us posted if you expand your operations into southern Germany; I'd certainly be interested.

Just thought I'd add this, but my local Tenglemann has now started stocking Cathedral City extra mature Cheddar Cheese.

Whether it's permanent remains to be seen?

HIT started stocking that recently too. Tis tasty stuff.
