Concert: No Use For A Name @ Backstage

anyone going? they are a good band...i'm kinda scared of going alone...

i prefer going to concerts on my own. i like to be able to enjoy the show without having to worry about mates not being in to it, or having to stand in a certain place because the other person wants to.

i happen to be at a lot of shows work wise, so its important for me to be completely free at a gig that i actually want to see.

im a selfish self involved bastard like that.

go on your own. you never know what might happen.

well i'm just new here and i dont speak german well and i'm chinese (have heard some people here dont like chinese ) and i'm a girl (dont girls supposed to not to be alone at night?)...ok i will try to go on my own...

in terms of safety, munich is pretty safe even for helpless maidens in the night. backstage have plenty of security people who in my experience are quite friendly if youre friendly to them

generally its a very peaceful place, even when the music is black death metal etc and the kids are jumping all over each other.

try and go on your own. worst case scenario, you go, have a beer, see a band you like and head home.

of course you might make a friend. you at least have the band in common and they might know of other shows that you might like. dont be afraid to speak english to people/let them know your german isnt very good.

as for "some people here dont like chinese". i doubt that any stupid racist gobshites are going to be going to No Use for A Name in the Backstage.

so...how was it?

It was a great show...Snitch opened...from they're Switzerland, I had seen them in 2005 at Rock am See, and they've even gotten better. Far from finished kinda pissed me off, but they at least sounded good. No Use are always good live...so all around, 3 very good performances...and I love the new backstage's "werk" area, cause there really isn't a bad view in the house.
