Is there a single word you can add emphasis to your
questions when you are really angry?
And like in english, where we have a choice
to use "hell" when kind of angry
and "the f*ck" when really really angry,
does german have an equivalent word to use consistently on every who what when where why and how?
So if someone is angry or suspicious they would ask
WHO the ( ) are you?!
WHAT the ( ) are you doing?
WHEN the () are you getting over here!?
HOW the ( ) am I supposed to know?
WHY the () are you being so unreasonable?!
WHERE the () did you leave the plane ticket??!
thanks!

Germans use zum Teufel a lot. Goes with who, what, where etc. Verdammt noch mal is also a good one. You can also combine the two as in, "Verdammt noch mal, Hermann, was zum Teufel machst du da!?"

Down south they use "Kruzifix" in a similar manner: "'zefix amol, hast du aan Badscher!"

Most of the times they use "Mensch" (not so offensive), "scheiße", "leck mich am arsch", "arschloch", etc things.
