Night out in the Friedrichshafen area

Is anyone up for a night out in the Friedrichshafen area.

Anyone up for doing something this weekend??

I'm new here,moved to Friedrichshafen at the end of August.I'm always up for doing things at the weekends, in Friedrichshafen or around the Bodensee or wherever.

Just moved hier two weeks ago.
So far, I think Friedrichshafen is quite hard to crack as finding a good place to go out isn't all that intuitive.

Going out some time just sounds wonderful, what about next week some time (have to go to Munich for the weekend)?
I recently strolled by the Elbocado Mexican bar/restaurant; doesn’t look half bad to me.
Apparently, people are even allowed to smoke in the bar area (not in the restaurant, though),
which is quite a rare thing here in Germany - just in case we have any smokers among us.

Friedrichshafen has no good places to go out

Try Belushi's opposite the cinema. When I was in FN, every Friday night the EADS Astrium crowd used to hit that bar. Good chance you'll run into English speakers because they have people from all over the world working there.

I agree, but if you're stuck here, you can' afford to be picky.

Belushi's sounds just fine, too, thanks for the recommendation.

I'm up for a few drinks in Belushi sometime. You know the Irish can't survive without alcohol, pubs and having a laugh for too long!!!The only pub i had noticed in Friedrichshafen was Pier 40, its tiny.Myself and my mate ended up wining at the restaurants instead!But maybe there are secret pubs and social venues that we just haven't discovered yet!Whoever else is up for meeting up some weekend, give us a shout, it would be great if we could get another few people together for a meetup in Friedrichshaen or in nearby towns around the Bodensee!

I've been living in FN for a year and a half and I'm Irish too. It's pretty quiet here in the winter but there are still a few good spots. Belushi and El Bocado I think are the best in winter and The beach club in the summer. There is a new bar being opened soon by the owners of El Bocado and they say it should be good. If you want to go clubbing I can't recommend any of the clubs in FN but Club Hugo in Langenargen on Saterday is pretty good.
I'm in El Bocado this Sat if anyone wants to meet up.

Folks, why not hop on the Catamaran to Konstanz and enjoy yourselves there. Konstanz is a much nicer place with better pubs, cafés and clubs. Lots of English-speaking foreigners and students, too. Friedrichshafen, on the other hand, is one of the dreariest hicktowns I have ever come across. Hardly worth the bother.

Whats the craic?Yea im up for meeting up on Saturday nite at el Bocado. Its only up the road from me. Yea FN isn't the most happening place, but feck it, we have to make the most out of it while we're here!I prob wont be able to get there until 9pm as im suppose to be headin to Switzerland for the day with my flatmate.But count me in for Saturday nite. Unless you live in Immenstaad and getting smashed on 70c Becks at Zirkus is the social highlight of your week.

Have to agree Konstance is the best place around the lake but the trains and Cat back to FN finish really early. We always have to stay with friends and it's just not practical to do that all the time. I never miss the rugby internationals though.
