I guess your best bet is to join in on one of the regular meetups, and as you seem to have had no problems finding the meetups forum, I'd strongly recommend taking that extra step and reading what's in it.

I've got pretty much nothing to do, no one really to hang out with. Hahaha... sounds pretty bleek, but it's only cause I just moved here from L.A. I plan on going to a couple of the meet-ups, but I'm always down for something spontaneous.
