The fountain at Karlsplatz
When will they turn it on?
An hour ago I was jogging by the large fountain at Stachus (by the Hugendubel bookstore and McDonalds) and noticed that it is not yet on. This surprised me, especially since the weather is so lovely. Does anyone know when they will turn it on?
When it's not freezing and windy every other day, maybe?
JOB is right. They wait for warmer weather so people who have leisure time to jog past the fountain at 10am on a Thursday don't slip on sheet ice, sue the city for damages and have the fountain declared a health hazard and removed.
The other, more contained fountains are being turned on this week.
