Power sources for busking with an electric guitar

Suggested best options for performing outdoors

another solution? I'd like to busk in the park and I have a 10w amp that takes ac power, and an effects processor that fortunately takes batteries as well as ac power supply. As best as I can see it, my options are:

1. buy a battery-powered amp

OR

2. find a source of ac power for my current amp.

For option #1: can someone recommend a good music store? and preferably a big one that might have lots of cheap used equipment. I really am on such a limited budget so the cheapest old amp with enough volume to be heard would suffice for now.

For option #2: well, I believe what I need is called an "inverter" which is something that turns dc power into ac power. But doing some internet searching, it seems these things aren't cheap. I'm not even quite sure where to buy one. Does anyone have any suggestions on:
- where to buy such a thing
- how to make my own (assuming it's remotely possible for a layperson)
- any other solutions? (I kinda mused to myself how neat it would be to power my amp with solar power, especially in so green a city as Berlin, but I certainly have no idea how doable that would be)

One other question: what search terms in German would I use to search for a portable or battery-powered amplifier on ebay.de or other German websites?

Amplifier is: Verstaerker (not sure how to make an umlaut with my American keyboard). Portable can be tragbar, or portabel but I'm not sure if putting those terms together gives me what I'm looking for, nor do I know yet how to properly declinate (if that's the right word) the adjective. Advice?

Roland Microcube would be ideal. App 100 euro, but might be available on ebay cheaper.

vox makes a nice little battery-powered solid state amp that includes some fx like delay and reverb and chorus. i've seen these amps at sound & drumland (in kultur brauerei and in west berlin too) and at the used place in kreuzberg (music central or something like that), i think they go for around 120 euro new for the smallest ones. i almost got one myself as a practice amp, but ended up with a little epiphone tube amp instead.

add to that a boss loop station and a wah wah, and you're set.

Actually I was just looking at this one on ebay. (perhaps some who can speak German better than I might give it a quick read and see if there's any mention of any defects I should be aware of or any red flags?)

I was just concerned that 2 Watts might not be enough to be heard by many, but admittedly I really don't know. Do you have experience with this amp?

Got my looper and expression pedal all rolled into one BOSS ME-50 (which is thankfully battery-powered).

Next question, finding a good cart to easily transport the stuff (perhaps in a thread coming soon).

There are small and quiet power generators made be Honda that will fit your needs. You also won't need a "Converter" as most all gen sets
output 240v, same as a normal house outlet.

a mate of mine got a pull-cart from obi to wheel around his amp and stuff. it was pretty cheap at around 15 euro. but with these little amps you should be able to chuck it all in a backpack. i know the vox would fit in a backpack. ithink the vox has a mic input too, but i might be wrong.

Correct me if I'm mistaken but after doing some quick googling it seems these generators by Honda start in the $1000s. Thanks, but more than a little beyond my means right now.
