the magazine is hairentertainment.com, i don't run it, i'm a contributor but have a bit of involvement in other logistics and stuff

we also put on shows too, we have a big one on friday at Galerie Weissenseer, Brückenstrasse 5-6, near U-S-Bahn Jannowitzbrücke/U-Bahn Heinrich-Heine-Strasse, it's called architektur defekt and we've got about 5 acts on i think...come along if you fancy a chat and seeing what kind of stuff we promote and write about...

i've forwarded all the details i've been given through PM and here to the chef and he'll write back to you, probably sometime after the weekend though...

Ok, and to deal with the thorny payment issue, this is berlin, and an lesser known scene, so payment is berlin-style. little or nothing at all, BUT, you do get to keep the CDs you review, get guestlist to some shows (if you want to go to one say and we'll try to sort the GL out), and occasionally there is a bit of money come through via sponsors or shows, etc.

this could be a way to get to know people in musical reviewing and live scene circles and also if you want to build your own experience and network a little in berlin...it's been quite good for me, in 6 months for hairentertainment (as well as other projects), i've met more cool people related with what i do than in 6 years in england...

I am incredibly interested in your post and after reviewing some of the bands on the above listed website I'd love the opportunity to review this type of music (I also found a couple of albums I MUST get... so I need the means to do so ). I write for several underground publications back home in California and am always looking for more exposure.
