Groovin' Dance Party @ Starlight - Sat 6.Nov.2004

I know y'all have plans for GNO and BNO at Nacht Galerie (yuck...!) but... perhaps it's worth reconsidering... considering Nacht Galerie is overrun by young'uns.

Drinks are cheap, music is goooood (I should know, I'm the DJ!), a lil' bit of everything, and what the crowd likes we roll with. Some of you might have noticed me before, I also play at Alte Galerie from time to time - I'm the 'girl' DJ.

Should be fun, and there will be a lot of English-speakers there. (The 'lots of English speakers are me, and some of my American, British and Irish non-Toytown friends, and all my Dutch and German buds, who are fluent in En-g-lisch.)

The more, the merrier!

A free beer for any Toytowner who shows... can't beat that. To get your free beer, bring a hard copy of this post and present it at the door. The doorman will give you a chip for a 1/2 a liter on Muenchen's best.

The room's a bit small and a bit cheesy, but the sound system's good, the DJ rocks and the drinks are cheap... really, how could you resist?

C'mon ova, I hardly make it to meetups, what with DJing and having a 'lil kid, so calling all Toytowners!

Darlin I will work hard on diverting the girlies - I'll be with them for dinner but I definitely don't wanna go near Nachtgalerie, so if I can find a few likeminded girlies we'll be there rather than the other place...

Is there a cover charge??

Thats not usually something to be proud of is it? What exactly do you mean by that? Madonna and Kylie and 80s? Or more like a mix of House, Trance and DnB? You play CDs or Vinyl? Sorry for having to ask, but I have actually seen "DJs" playing CDs here in Munich like at the last bno/gno!

I dont know Nacht Gallerie either, so what music would I expect to see there?

@kza: Don't be silly. CDs, LPs, 8tracks, cassette tapes, MDs, mp3s, whatever. Format doesn't make the difference. The idea that a "DJ" can't play CDs is ridiculous.

That *does* sound better than the Nachtgalerie, and I waffled too long on the GNO dinner, so can't do that. Wish the guys were coming though.

Having trouble getting the guys out at all (4 at the moment). I have not been to either place before so I don't know whats bad and good. I'll ask the guys (who are going) what they think.

Actually, since I heard Paros in Haidhausen was in the BNO deal, I was thinking of just 'happening to be there' at the same time as the guys...(insert little devil icon here).
