Kylie Minogue has announced 3 concert dates in Germany.
31 March 2005 – Munich, Olympiahalle
4 April – Hamburg, Color Line Arena
5 April – Cologne, Arena
Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning and if this is like the last time, they should sell out quickly.

tickets go on sale tomorrow at usual places so:
Eventim
München Ticket
In person at:
Rathaus Tourist Office (Marienplatz)
Ticket Boxes (Marienplatz S-Bahn)
Saturn (all branches with ticket offices, e.g. Theresienhöhe)
Kaufhof/Hertie/Karstadt/WOM ticket bureaux
And any other sort of ticket place.
Sale starts 9am I believe but you might want to call the relevant office to check (or nip in on the way to work).
Tickets are not yet on sale online, are likely to cost around 50€, Bild.de has some advance ones though.
This will be a hot ticket - the tour name?

Me and the ex loved it in the Oly Halle last time and of course all the Germans looked at us weird when we started boogying to all her old SAW stuff cos they didn't know it. I'll be sending my ex (better the devil you know) to town tomorrow to get tickets.

I have heard from an unconfirmed source that it is already sold out . I will double check though and if it is sold out, I will try to get a ticket for Erasure who are scheduled (currently) for the same night at the Muffathalle. But keep in mind that Erasure may be rescheduled or cancelled as I think most people would rather see Kylie

Chuck, I heard that Kylie is already sold out.

I'm guessing that Erasure might well get re-scheduled cos a lot of the <cough> target audience might be at Kylie rather than Mr Bell getting a <cough> "sore throat" as happened last time.

So, suggestions for drinkies needed !

Yeah I will be sure to go to Deutsche Eiche the night before the concert. And if Miss Bell cancels the concert the next night due to a "sore throat" , You'll know why.

The tickets are for category 2 - Arena unseated - so you are going to have the pleasure of seeing Kylie from upclose (provided that you get there early )

The price for each Ticket is 59 Euros (original p.: 65,60 Euros).

Well the fact that he hasn't moved the gig even though they had a free night last night really errrrm "sticks in my throat" to use a phrase.

Ex just called, we're having sekt and cannapées before we leave for the stadium and I think a cheeky little alko pop in the U Bahn might be in order.

I went to the Erasure concert last night at the Muffathalle. Surprisingly, there were a lot of people there! Great show too. I have a sore throat myself this morning (from singing )I guess once word spread that the Kylie Minogue concert was sold out in fairly short order, a lot of people got tix for Erasure instead. We met at Hard Rock cafe for their 2 for one happy hour and downed a few (ish) Long Island Iced teas and then headed over. By the way, how was Kylie's show last night?

Glorious.
Ms Minogue knows her crowd, hence lots of skimpily dressed male dancers in the shower!
She sang all the hits (lots of the 80s ones!) and more adding "Somewhere over the rainbow" and "Especially for you" as one of the encores.
She looked fabulous, lots of different costumes and hit all the notes and then some.
It wasn't sold out but it was almost full.
Have no idea what she eats but there is not one gramme of fat on that woman, she's built like a ballerina, tiny but strong.
Tiny snag with whole event but I'll let grtho cover that one...

FAB night, great show, worth every penny.
Even though Eraure were also on, getting to and from the U-Bahn at Olympia was likr trolling down the Müllerstrasse!

Now, I'm the last one to have a go at "the Germans" but:

I object to getting roughly poked in the back by a grumpy harridan becasue I want to boogie to "Better the Devil You Know" with my ex - irony huh.

I told her that a gentle tap on the shoulder would have been appropriate and asked her if she had no manners whatsoever. Her ugly face (and let's face it it wasn't an ugly tree with her but an ugly forest) went blank.

My ex in his usual style called her an "ugly f***ing b****" and wished that she died in an unpleasant car accident - we were a bit squiffy after REAL champagne and alcopops and beer by then...

That was a seriously amazing concert... I have NO voice today as a result, and am looking decidedly peaky! That was the 3rd Kylie concert I've been to in my life, and the show was definitely the best I've seen her put on so far. That said, I also agree with grtho about the German crowds... Aussie crowds do seem a tad more lively and appreciative of Ms Minogue's showgirl act.

But yeah the crowd were rubbish! They weren't really feeling it until the last few songs i dont think.

As much as i loved it last night, i reckon the Fever tour was better. But maybe its because i saw it in Manchester where the audience knew how to have fun!

As per usual when anything vaguely older came on the Germans (apart from my ex) had little idea about it and looked on in amazement as we crooned along to "Especially for You".

Jason wasn't there for the duet, 'spect he was at Erasure...
