There's a huge shop in town full of art deco, art nouveau, Landhaus Stil and all other styles apart from contemporary lighting. You're bound to find something in there.

I don't know the exact address but its main entrance is at the Isartor end of Westenriederstraße and it also has a door in Tal - the building it's in spans the gap between the two streets.

further to this - does anyone know where to buy bayonet light bulbs - we seem to have some bayonet fittings in our flat...

There's also a crazy lighting store on Bodenseestrasse in Pasing (though I couldn't tell you the number, it's about a block away from the mattress store with the gigantic yellow sign.) It has all sorts of cool lighting, but it is a bit pricey.
