Thank you for the personal attack, thus disqualifying yourself from being on this forum in the first place. And no, I ditched my German husband years ago. He was boring, egotistical, unimaginative, inconsiderate, unhelpful in bringing up our children, thought more about the cost of his car than my health and took it as a personal insult if I dared to be happy when he was feeling depressed.
This is not German bashing in general, this is a description of my German ex.

Well I can't be a hypocrite; if someone posted something like that about America (which people do) I'd get upset too (which I do). I think he was just trying to illicit the reaction he has but still... not acceptable in my book.

No, LittleSprite, the difference is that I choose not to let the opinions of a small minority spoil my enjoyment of TT. I'm not going to flounce off and leave just because a few people think differently from me or say things I don't like. Just like I choose to live my life in Germany and focus on the positive aspects of it rather than get upset because German people are wankers on the U-bahn*.

I think keydeck said it correctly. TT is not a EU sponsered site to further the cultural understanding between our proud national heritage and cultures. If that's what you came for you are going to be rather upset and dissapointed. It is a source of info, banter and general whinging about all of the above and obviously as we need to deal with it on a daily or hourly basis zee germans.

Actually they do, they're open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. One of the reasons I'm glad I don't live there.

I'm surprised that it came from you. Why didnt you do the same when I started to post on TT and did some mistakes? Couldnt you report that? or Being a supporter/mod (or whatever), dont you hold the responsibility of making TT famous and profitable? You could have reported or informed the mod to send a PM and corrected my petty language mistakes (which was because I got used to adjusting my English according to German needs)? And you come and preach things there?

When that bad dog barked on me, I was initially taken aback (I think this dog and others just googled my nick, found a German having the same id, discussed with fellaz in protected forum, found a strategy and started attackin' me). But his posts are informational and I do like the way he writes. Sometimes, its a learning experience too (I corrected some of my mistakes). But all you do is just post drivel, talk about relationships, etc things and no useful info. And you act like a snobby lady in one of those fuckin' Hollywood movies (not knowing your real position).

Also, you said that TT is like that in the beginning and gradually you tend to have fun. So, you mean you folks set up some kind of booby traps for n00bs and make them feel miserable?

PS: I'm just acting (after adjusting to TT's needs) like any other TT guy. Its common here to whine/moan/swear. So, dont take it seriously!
