Just like the English in Cologne @ Worldcup: My granddad killed your granddad, toora toora.
Typical English desperation. ;-)
Why would you bring up 66 and 2001? Your record is miserable.
WORLD
7 finals '54, '66, '74 ,'82 ,'86 ,'90 ,2002, (every decade since the fifties, 3 times in a row)
3 World Cups 54, 74, 90
EURO
5 finals '72, '76, '80, '92, '96,
3 European Cups '72, '80, '96,
You have 1 wc final, 1 Worldcup,
You have no European final (2 third places)
And you got your asses handed to you by every German squad in any random tournament.
And we never missed a cup, you did twice, and so on and on and on.
Meh...

Hey, this wasn't meant offending. Banter?
And the "my granddad killed..." chant came from English supporters in Cologne, which i thought was pretty lame actually. I didn't adress you. I should have added quote tags. And i didn't shit at wembley, i just made a not so imaginative metaphor about Wembley (and probably failed linguistically).

My personal take on it is that somebody who posts the same hatefilled drivel for years isn't trying to be ironic but needs their head searched. One post of that kind is funny, five posts of that kind get tedious - hundreds of posts of that kind are pathological. Either he's the biggest attention whore in existance or the saddest person on the planet...I'd assume he's a combination of both.
Like it.

Given how sensitive many people here are about being discriminated against it's surprising how hatefule tyrades like DonRiina's posts (or the posts of Expaticus and of some other people on here), stupid generalizations and sweeping desparaging statements are always excused as being "fun" and "the way expats communicate with each other. Many of the things that are posted here go far beyond "whining and moaning" and reflect a degree of hatefilled bitterness, arrogance and ignorance that would not be accepted on any other message board.
Wow. Until this, I'd assumed that I was being being more honored in the breach rather then the observance.
I thought I'd have to consider starting to write in ALL CAPS with lots of exclamation points!!! whilst posting photos of naked ladies to be considered a "hateful tirader".
