My husband and I are looking for an apartment/house in or near Ludwigsburg, 1-2 bedrooms, nothing too big or small, prefer furnished (although not a requirement), obviously a safe neighborhood, easy accessibility to public transportation. Apartment/house must be available June 1st. Maximum rent 725 euros/month. Any suggestions or availabilities? Thanks!

2 room apartment, on ground floor

Opposite the little R-Bahn station with access to the bigger train networks (the R-bahn is a smaller tram line, therefore not noisy) it's a hop, skip and a jump away - I love it!
Buses direct to Ludwigsburg - stops around the corner from the house.
Fitted Kitchen,
South facing balcony
Generous storage area in Cellar
Good neighbours
Bed, Wardrobe, couch, Washing machine for sale at cheap prices.

Rent currently at 525 (warm) with parking place.
(i'm currently waiting to hear from my landlord, as he may want to increase it slightly - but it's well within your budget)
Minimum contract 1 year.

I've lived here for 2 years almost, and it's been a happy little home - good landlord who speaks english and i'm only moving as I will be moving in with my fella!

PM me if you're interested - I have some photos somewhere smile.gif

Hello:

I have just accepted position in Stuttgart at Kelley Barracks. I am looking for a house or apartment (2 people) in Ludwigsburg or Stuttgart close to transportation. Good size in excellent location. Furnished or unfurnished. Thanks.

Is there a specific reason you're looking at Ludwigsburg? If you're at Kelley, commuting and don't want to live directly in Stuttgart, somewhere like Filderstadt is a better bet. Driving during the middle of the day (no traffic) from Kelley to Ludwigsburg can take over an hour, and that's not during rush hour. The commute isn't worth it. And if you're looking at taking public transit, you'll be commuting almost 2 hours one way.

What do you have against Ludwigsburg!

Nothing at all! In fact, I think it's really pretty and quiet there. I just wouldn't want that commute if I was working at Kelley, that's all. smile.gif
