Where to buy machine embroidery thread

Well, everything is in the title. I need some machine embroidery thread, not the hand embroidery one. I have no idea where to find this, and it is pretty urgent because it's for my mum who is about to move to a tiny polynesian island to which parcels and letters arrive when they feel like it. Therefore she needs them to go with all the rest of her belongings that will sail along to her new home, departure pretty soon (for now she lives on a tiny island near Canada and it is also easy as hell to have things reach her there).

There is a shop on Rindermarkt or Oberanger in the centre of town, not far from Marienplatz. Small shop that sells all sorts of threads. Sorry can't remember it's name.

Ludwig Beck "Geknöpft und Zugenäht" in Burgstr. kind of at the back of their Marienplatz store may well have it, or will know where to find it.

There is a larger selection in the shop (Sebastianplatz - near the new synagogue) than on their website. The owner is very helpful and speaks English.
