Does anyone on this forum live in Staufen because if you do and you thought that your trees had grown at a fast rate this year you would be wrong. It is your house that is sinking.

In an effort to become "greener", the town was drilled under to provide geo-thermal "green" heating but unfortunately the contractor hit an underground resevoir causing a gradual subsidence of a number of buildings in the town and it may continue to get worse. For the full article:
