Has anyone ever found a shop in Munich that sells Orange Squash? Pereferably Robinsons Special R but any orange squash will do.

I saw orange squash in "Plus" a while ago, but it's certainly very rare. I just learnt to mix juice and water, e.g. Apfelschorle, healthier anyway.

There is an organic shop in the bottom of Stachus/Karlsplatz, it's to the right of the tram line entrances towards tenglemann's. I don't know if they have squash as I don't have too much reason to go to an organic place.
is it the same as ribena or something called "robinsons orange"? check pomeroy and winterbottom.
Please also see
British and American Foods in Munich for more tips.

HL Markt do a Robinsons/Kia Ora style drink...I always get the orange one, its not bad, comes in a smaller bottle than at home and is more concentrated..quite expensive too-about 2.99 a bottle. The name has just escaped me , its called "Top something" and comes in different flavours..

Excellent. Thanks a lot for the advice. Will check them all out. Will be a very happy man if/when I find some.
@mrsdoyle
Do you know if there is an HL Markt anywhere between
Marienplatz and Gieselestr?

now that I don't know sorry...i live in laim and there is one next door to me on Fürstenrieder Str. But there is that Mini Mal in Tal near
Marienplatz and they are owned by the same people as HL Markt so I reckon they should have it
There should be directions to
Mini Mal on the forum..

Hiya

It is called
TriTop and I like it.
If you are quite old you'll realise that the raspberry one tastes in milk just like Crusha or those Humphrey straws that Unigate gave out in the 70s/80s.

Warning!
Careful of getting these Sirop/Sirup drinks. They are sugar syrup drinks not at all like cordial. They rot your teeth! I used to buy a mint one in France when I lived there.

@Wibble ... Don't worry about the teeth thing...The Alcohol will get you first. Let me know if it tastes any good & I may pop down there myself...Via the
Andechs Bar of course
I thought these "squash" syrups were meant to be mixed with soda water?
Katrina
Nov 4 2004, 2:13 pm
Soda, tap water, mineral water or milk. TriTop also comes as a powder for milk.
Are you thinking of the SodaClub (UK name: SodaStream) ones? Because those are made for mixing with soda water only.

Those tri tops taste like sh1t, nothing like the taste of 'its just for me and my dog kia ora' .
Apparently they were launched by the German dentist soceity to ensure business stayed booming and they could continue to charge hideous amounts for knocking peoples pegs ooot. May as well just goto wall markt and buy a tub of Golden syrup. pointless.

Simple, Just don't Drink Squash, stick to beer. Saves turning München upside down looking for it and the Dentists will have to sell there porches ! schade!
Anyway, Kia ora sucks...Robinsons !!!

Robinsons was based on pedophilia - fact. Ball boys running around, sneaking behind the tennis covers with the umpires ...füked up. Like Birds eye fish finger adds. twisted.

How a question relating to orange squash can degenerate into weird umpire child tennis sex and fish fingers is beyond me. Could you please explain the connection??

Nov 4 2004, 3:43 pm
Well.. To get this thread back on track from alanbails fetishes, It would be a good idea if Someplace like the Arc could get hold of it. Then us Chavpats would have to head down there to buy some and have a few scoops while we're there. Good business for them...hint hint !!!
Ribena gets my vote over Vimto !!!

Not a bad idea for you potbelly. Robinsons special R orange squash and Ribena. Also chocolate hob nobs, double deckers, wotsits...

Whats wrong with doing your shopping first, going straight to
Andechs, getting cünted and waking up with no shopping the next day. Far more profitable.

I bought a 725ml bottle of Vimto today for EUR2.60 from the Asian supermarket Sum Kee on the corner of Paul-Heyse-Unterföhrung and Bayerstr (
Bayerstrasse 16a).
They also have PG tips loose tea & teabags.

Tritop is bloody awful! Take a look at the label, not a milligram of real fruit in it... all chemicals! YUK!
Tengelmanns have some bottles of fruit syrups (nothing like what people are looking for but are good) - forget the name though (useless I know) but are in tall slim bottles and available in Raspberry, Holunderblüten etc.

The brand is Yo. A few other places sell them too. Yummy.
