My wife and I will arrive Frankfurt Airport in the morning. And we plan to start our trip from Rüdesheim. Then I wonder whether anyone knows the most economic way to reach there, from airport. One alternative known is to buy a Hesse ticket of 28.5 Euro. But do anyone know the one-way price from Flughafen to Rüdesheim? Or can someone tell me if you know that there is some other routes which will save more.

www.rmv.de will give you public transportation for Hessen, which shows that the trip costs 6,75 € each.
Regional Express or Sbahn from the airport to Mainz or Weisbaden, then regional express to Rudesheim.

The reason is that for Frankfurt Airport to Rüdesheim the RMV tariff applies and not the DB tariff. DB timetable gives only prices for connections where the DB tariff applies for.
