Allspice - from a jerk chicken recipe

I wanted to make a jerk chicken recipe, and was thinking about making this one:
Jerk Chicken Recipe

The recipe calls for allspice - what is this in German?

I was going to make this recipe with rice, beans (black if I can find them, pinto or kidney if I can't) flavored with the same sauce, and either sliced pineapple or mango. Also good, if the chicken is really spicy, is to dip the chicken in raspberry jelly.

I have been wondering too what this was in German - thinking it probably wasn't available. However, I just did a Leo search and it says that Allspice is "Piment" or possibly Nelkenpeffer, see the link below.

I think you might be right. Here's a picture of allspice, and it looks like the link that you have.

I'll have to look in the spice aisle to see if I can find Piment or Nelkenpeffer. Thanks for you help.

150 g Zwiebeln
50 g frische Ingwerwurzel
3-6 grüne Chilischoten
1 Tl getrockneter Thymian
1/2 Tl Muskatnuss
1 Tl Zimtpulver
1-2 Tl Piment
1/2 Tl Nelkenpulver
2 El Öl
2 El frisch gepresster Limettensaft
8 Hähnchenkeulen à 225 g
