i have been asked to buy some duty free cigarettes when i visit munich this weekend.i know from past trips that you cant buy cigarettes in the duty free at munich airport, if you are travelling back to the uk. can anyone tell me what you would pay for rolling tobacco and for say 20 marlboro.

i enjoy getting to stansted and having a look at all the goodies you cant buy in the duty free. makes you wonder why bother having the shops. its not like 15 bars of milk tray chocolate can compete with a bottle of jd even at duty free prices

It's cheaper than in UKia.

You may indeed be able to buy duty-free for your return. Ask at the airport when you get here.

You'll only find smokes sold by the carton in some of the tobacco shops, and at standard pack price. Packet of 18-19 Marlboros cost around EUR3.40, Other brands vary somewhat. All cigarette machine packets are EUR4 but they usually have 21-23 per pack.

Rolling tobacco is around EUR5/pouch
