English-language theatres in Stuttgart

Hey

I just moved to Stuttgart and I was wondering what kind of theatre scene there was. I just finished work in London as a stage manager but want to keep my hand in even if its am dram etc.
Also any cheeky little hang outs you would recommend for drinking destinations would be greatly appreciated.

The SI-Centrum is the biggest theatre ... normally has the bigger shows (it's had Mamma Mia, Wicked) since i've been here and now i think it has the blue man show.
But yeah, they're speaking in German - which is why i have never been. Was tempted to go and watch the blue man show, since I wouldn't need my German for that one

kelley theatre was the one i was thinking of! Never been tho, and would never had the guts to audition!

why? it's community theater at its finest. they renovated the theatre and do really good quality shows and they love newbies. but it's on a military installation so you have get access to get on base a week ahead of time. fyi, i used to watch shows there all the time and am active in my community here in heidelberg although a lot of my expat and German friends don't like the hassle although the shows are quite good.

NEAT - mostly Irish folks who do stuff. The theater is super, mini, tiny, but I saw a few hilarious shows there! I think they're located in Bad Cannstadt
