According to an article over at The Telegraph, Secret Stasi pornographic films have been found and were broadcast on TV this Wednesday evening.

Movies with titles like Glass Dreams, Private Werner's Big Surprise and F***ing for the Fatherland were made by a secret unit set up within a barracks of the army in Biesdorf in East Berlin.

160 officers and men beavered away with 16mm cameras to produce pornographic movies that were shown to top brass of the army in East Germany and for visiting generals from other Warsaw Pact nations.

The DDR also produced porn for general consumption.
There's a fairly famous photo of a, shall we, say, readers wife, giving it a full frontal next to a Trabbi.
Maybe it was a lack of church or "traditional" influences. But people from the old eastern states are regarded as often more sexually liberated.
