Any ideas ?

According to Leo, it's "Rindfleisch zum kochen" but I dont think I have every seen meat called that in Vinzenzmurr.

Hi marka,
I tend to buy Goulash-Steak for stews and pies from Vinzenzmurr.
Hope this helps,
Katrina

Try just asking for "gulasch" and when you see it checking it's really what you want.

Edit: Damn, and I thought I had Katrina beat for once wink.gif

I was wondering how long it would take to get your pearls of wisdom :-)

Many thanks

Suppenfleisch is normal meat for boiling I think. Try Suppenfleisch vom Rind or summat.

Yep, goulash is what you want. I usually just ask for "Rindergulasch".

If you are making a really cheap stew, you can use suppenfleisch but the it's more work and you'll end up with irregular shapes of meat and you will need lenty ov veg as some it contains fat and gristle.
