If you want to learn a bit about the heavens, pop along to Munich's public observatory, the Bayerische Volkssternwarte, this Saturday, 29th March. They're having a "Tag der offenen Tuer" (open door day), from 14:00 until midnight. Entrance is free.

Here's the programme from the observatory web site. I can't link directly to the "open day" page, but click on "News" in the navigation bar at the bottom of the page (or on "Aktuell" if you're looking at the German version of the site).

Google Map for the Sternwarte. That looks like fun! What are "astro traders" and will they have Tang?
GreenTea
Not sure what "astro traders" are. My guess is that they mean suppliers of amateur astronomer paraphernalia like telescopes, lenses, mounts, sky charts, astronomy books, astro software and other geeky stuff, maybe also meteorite fragments, rocks from Mars, Wensleydale cheese from the moon ... or perhaps it'll be a kind of pan-galactic flea market with little green men from Mars plying their wares, jewellers selling rings from Saturn, stuff like that. Sounds like fun!
