This Sunday the 30th there will be another Country Walk.

For those of you that were not with us before we are usually 20 to 50 people of various nationalities and we walk for about 10 Km at a normal pace with a 1 hour stop at a Gaststätte in the middle. We travel to the start of the walk by S-Bahn.

We meet at 12 midday on the ground floor of the Hauptbahnhof in front of the Internationalle Presse. If you would like to travel on a group ticket which is a lot cheaper please be there a bit earlier and I will try to get you on one.

I am only a fair weather walker so am also hoping for good weather on Sunday - according to the radio this morning it will be sunny and "frühlingshaft"...hard to imagine at this point in time though!

Hi, by Sunday I've lived in Munich for 2 weeks! So time to see some country side also. Richard, thanks for reminding about the summer time...

Fabulous day with great views of the Alps! I enjoyed walking through the forest on the springy ground...much easier on the old joints and smelt great. Impressed at how the Gaststätte coped with 45 of us descending on them mid-afternoon out of the blue...gold star from me
