The vast majority of TTers seem to think that the Church is just for fat-cat paedophile priests , not that many of them belong to the church or do much charitable work themselves

Really, how do you know that?

I read. How do you know anything?

I choose not to make sweeping statements about people I don't know.

How do you know people? Blood tests , sexual /marital relations?

I would suggest you wait until they tell you.

This is the marvellous and revolutionary method by which I have come to the information I possess on charity-workers on TT.

So far I know of MT who does tons of charitable work and belongs to the Catholic-knockers group , he doesnt even knock that much. Uh... that's about it.

Really ? The vast majority of TTers seem to think that the Church is just for fat-cat paedophile priests , not that many of them belong to the church or do much charitable work themselves but talking out of your arse seems to be normal M.O. here.

So this statement about the vast majority of TTers is in fact you you just talking out of your arse.

You also claimed: "not that many of them belong to the church or do much charitable work themselves". You cannot possibly know this.

Oh good , so I can count on you in future to defend the Church when they are accused of being nothing but the aforementioned fat-cats and paedophiles? Otherwise you'd be quite the hypocrite now wouldnt you?

Ah, a Parnell vs. Allershausen ego fest. Splendid.

I fail to see how you come to that conclusion, not judging people doesn't mean you have to defend them. But carry on blowing smoke.

I suggest that you enrol quickly in elementary school to learn the English language as you seem to be missing the first part of that sentence.

You may , in the absence of said education watch the analogous section from the movie "One flew over the cuckoo's nest" , entirely appropriate in your circumstance I feel - whereupon the McMurphy character played by Jack Nicholson emphasises the difference between half a cigarette and an entire cigarette:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073486/quotes

Martini: [rips a cigarette in half] I bet a nickel.
McMurphy: Dime's the limit, Martini.
Martini: I bet a dime.
[Puts the two halves onto the table]
McMurphy: This is not a dime, Martini. This is a dime.
[shows a whole cigarette]
McMurphy: If you break it in half, you don't get two nickels, you get shit. Try and smoke it. You understand?
Martini: Yes.
McMurphy: You don't understand.

In the above your position is that of Mr. Martini's. He also seemed to be an Arsenal fan but I can't prove that either.

Surely the opposite is true? The corresponding humility of the individual would preclude the mentioning of such charitable deeds - particularly bragging about them on a website?
parnell
yip , unless of course they weren't being charitable in a darkened room on their own and were looking to organise ... course that'd never happen...never I tells ya... Jesus does atheism rot your brains???
