Wedding reception venues in Spreewald/Cottbus

Huh, this may be more difficult than I thought. My fiance is originally from Cottbus and we were thinking about getting married in the area. (I know that it is far from the greatest place). I've searched and searched the net, and the only suitable place I could find is Schloss Luebbenau, which is a little too expensive for us. Does anyone know of a suitable place?

In Cottbus you could try the lovely Schloss Branitz which has beautiful grounds. I think they hold receptions in the old music room.
Luebben also has a small schloss with a beautiful painted room called the Wappensaal where they have receptions and it's on the river.
Why not have a jolly and hire a couple of Kahns from either Luebben or Lubbenau; they ply you with lots of scnapps and float you to restaurants on the Spree.
A nice rural village in the region is Schlepzig with a hotel/brewery called I think Zum Gruenen Strand der Spree. They often have live music and I'm sure would have ideas; you can also hire Kahns there.
There's always Tropical Islands at Brand for something a bit different (tropical jungle and lagoons sited in the huge hangar that was built for the Cargolifter airship on a vast former frontline Russsian air base.)
