Hi All,

So yesterday I went to the VolksFest with a couple of friends (this made for a fun afternoon...a Scotsman, a German, and a Texan). We want to go back next weekend but would like to add to our small entourage. So whether you're new to Toytown or have been around awhile, it is sure to be a good time and everyone should seriously consider joining us. What could be better than the Painfully loud, overcrowded, smoke-filled and extremely youthful 'Rock Tent' where you have to stand in a line 15 minutes long just to use the toilette, have to wait 10 minutes more for an overpriced beer and find it nearly impossible to converse over the sad excuse for a cover band on stage? Oh wait- I am trying to sell you all on coming. Sorry. No, but really it's a good time and fun to hear all those crazy Germans singing their beer-drinking songs every hour, on the hour. It's a mini-Oktoberfest right here in Nurnberg... We got there around 6 pm last night and it was already PACKED...we'll repeat the departure time again next Saturday. Meet across from the HBF where the trams stop and arrive. We'll take the number 9 (Dokuzentrum). It arrives at 6:04 and takes about 15 minutes to get there. Free entry.

Yep, the spring festivals are sprouting. Don't think I'll make this one, though.

Hey Sarah, I'd like to stay put this weekend (instead of country hopping like the past two) and be a part of your entourage. Sounds like fun. happy.gif

No one is interested in joining us on Saturday for the Volksfest? I thought I posted something but no one has responded and now I can't find the post. Hmmmmm...tricky, very tricky. Anyway, there is a group of us going Saturday night and all are welcome.
