Quick Hungarian goulash recipes

couldn't find it in the search (hard to believe!)

Need a quick recipe. Many in the internet call for brown sugar and worchestershire sauce. Some don't. What do you all do?

both make nice Hungarian Gulash mixes, super easy, and really good.

I only add brown sugar if I make it extra spicy. The other I always put in.

I think I will wing it. I am not going back to the store--too much of a hassle (and the little one is snoozing). I don't like gulash anyway.

If you are still interested here is one. Gulash is a soup in Hungary (and not a stew).
heat oil
add onion
green pepper
then add
meat (beef)
salt / pepper/ cumin/ paprika powder
garlic
tomato
fill with water, cook on medium heat for 30min (or 15 min on high heat if in a rush) , then add potato for the lats 10 min

If you would like to make the stew then do the samebut with less water and throw in a good maggi soup cube.

My Hungarian (Budapest) friends make a tasty goulash, similiar to speedygonzi's recipe; except without green pepper, cumin and maggi soup cube. Its very easy!
They serve it with noodles and a topping of sour cream! Yummy!

So why are you looking for the recipe then??? (Are you planning on doing something kinky with it?)

Well, it turned out ok. somewhat like speedgonzi's. It turned out that by the time my husband came home from work he had to leave immediately for a hockey game. I was left to eat it myself. Thought about the kinky things I could possibly do with it but then ate too much and wasn't feelin' kinky anymore...
