Thought i'd make a new thread for rugby as we have one for footie for general gossip and chit chat ( jibber jabber? )

Anyway, i'll go first.

Mike Tindall has been treating his bruised liver in an unusual way.

Gloucester rugby club has refused to comment on newspaper reports that England player Mike Tindall has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving.
Don't think that her indoors or HRH is gonna like that too much.

The Daily Mail paints a pretty picture on the subject.

Witnesses who saw them in a bar close to the course that night said they had been “worse for wear.

They described seeing Tindall, 29, “throwing up over himself and Zara falling off a chair and hitting her head on a table.
I don't think her indoors is in a position to comment - the mother in law is another question.

and exactly what coaching credentials do they say he has? Has he ever coached any team to any notable success?
parnell
Brian Moore would undoubtedly take one from him... no other attribute neccessary.

Exactly! I believe that Martin Johnson said that is why he DIDN"T want the job.

yeah it's one of those things that always happens- when a team is looking around for a coach, a section of the fans always clamours for the obvious choice of someone who was a popular player - even if they have little or no experience ie. shearer at newcastle and keegan for the england job- I think it just makes for good headlines in the paper

Hahahaha, Cipriani thinks Ashton should keep his job.

Nothing to do with Ashton picking him of course.

They've been saying that for months

To be honest though, the results have been not bad. We just had some horrendous 2nd halves and a cruddy game in scotland. We did after all come second, which is first loser I know, but add that to the RWC result and it can't be said that England have not performed well. Just horribly inconsistant.

Eddie has done the honourable thing and resigned. He was fucked if he did, fucked if didn't. I would have stayed for the severance.

Thanks England!

Pat Howard , John Mitchell... there's also a very good one from South Africa I believe... forgotten what his name is now...
