Playing some games of hurling

Anyone on for playing hurling in berlin.When the weather gets a bit better maybe a puckaround in a park.
Nothing major,just for an hour or two.

Absolutely - I'd be really interested in a regular puck about. I've just come back to Berlin, after 4 years away - there used to be guys playing hurling in Gorlitzer Park in Kreuzberg. I live in Steglitz, but am happy to travel. I'm originally from Dublin, and played hurling regularly there. I was living in Oxford for the lats two years, and I played for Oxfird University in a hurling Colours match against Cambridge University. I'd be interested in getting something regular going here.

Also I've got good contacts into the Irish music scene here, and play in the pubs form time to time - so we could also tie a bot if sport with a couple of pints and a session.

I have a few hurlies but only one is ok.One I could fix.Also have 2 sliothars.
maybe after easter we could try and meet up.I used to play in gorlitzer a few years ago but some of the other lads,german and irish
couldn't hit the ball to save their lives.So for public safety reasons we stopped.
I'm back home in April so I'll try to pick a few hurlies up.
But like i said after easter maybe.

Sounds good - pick up a hurley for me, and I'll pay you the reddies - I had a hurley, but the moving people lost in when we moved back to Berlin last December. I have a sliothar - you could get a couple of sliothars and I'll split the costs.

I am interested in getting back into cricket, only work at the moment is crazy - I am away for much of May, so I'm not sure when I can start turning up. I'll be in touch as soon as things get a bit quiter - looks like early June at the moment.

limerick man here - up for a puckaround. living in f'hain. treptower park is a good spot with nice open space but i'll play anywhere. have 2 hurls and a sliotar. would prefer a bit of experience though as i've tried with first-timers/haven't-played-in-years-types and get a bit frustrated. cool, later.

well trevor,
i'm working in dahlem and live in f'hain so i'd have to go home and pick up a hurl first (i'm on a bike by the way so the location isn't the best.) - unless you have a second in which case i could pass by on the way home from work.
if not i'd be well up for a puck there on the sat at the same time?
