I almost spaced this - but immediately reserved a table for this coming Thursday at Lebenslust in Schwabing.
An evening of Irish music and fun on "Green Thursday" - let me know if you are joining in on the table - or if I need to get an extra one.

Irish music is rather a broad subject, DD - any more details?

Always the thorough researcher! Very praiseworthy and professional
I didn't find this info on the Lebenslust website, just something about Irish music one Friday a month. Looking forward to DD's report when she turns up again sometime tomorrow.

uhm, yeah, well it's Irish and its music.
And Mick will be playing - never heard him play but I've known him for about 15 years.
Anyway, the table I booked is about full, so if there is interest I will ask for another (on the other hand, I have no idea how full it gets on these Irish nights, I normally have a difficult time getting out during the week).
How's that for research?

The fact that it's Irish music and Mick will be playing obviously narrows the field considerably...
Has he got Pat as backup?

And Kate and Mary on backing vocals.

You've all forgotten the most crucial aspect: does Mick write his own songs and impose them on the hapless?
I thoroughly recommend Kate, Mary and Pat when they're on form. Didn't they go to Merka years ago on the
"Good Ship Kangaroo"?
They went with ease and brought disease

Totally clueless - but I tell you what, I will take pictures and maybe a video for you guys.
Actually, I'm thinking less traditional folky on instruments I've never seen before since I vaguely remember that Mick plays guitarre - but I could be wrong. It's been known to happen.
Ah. I was asking so I could change the subtitle from Thursday 20 March 7pm (I think) --> 7pm Thursday 20.Mar.2008 so that this event will show up in the events calendar on TT's front page. Should take a half hour from now.
Sounds like a nice evening, probably even if you don't know Mick, Kate, Mary, or Pat?

Cool - though I think I need to know if I need to reserve another table ... so, either a pm, or a mention on the thread would be good so I can make sure there are enough seats to go around.

Ah, the joys of youth. Well, I plan to limp by, propping my eyes up with matchsticks and calling for strong drink.

I'm up for a bit of that. Nice start to my week of no work and no kids.
I guess I'm in the middle between swinging and limping. I'll saunter in at some point. Probably early actually as I have a 5.30 appointment in town first and then I'm wandering around town till this thing starts.
