Shipping and removals from Frankfurt to the UK

Can anyone recommend a good shipping company for shipping my stuff back from FF to the UK?

I'll be moving back to the UK in the next few months - does anyone know of a company that does FFM to UK removals? I'm talking cheap, if possible. Other alternative is to get my brother to drive a van over from the UK, which isn't that cheap either. Just wanted to compare prices.

A friend of mine was quite happy with Simpsons removals although his comapny were paying I am not sure how cheap they were.

How much stuff are you talking about is it not possible to send some of it via surface mail and sell any big bits of furniture? It is pretty expensive hiring a van to take abroad...

I have a RHD renault megane that needs to go back to the UK...you buy that and use it as your removal van and then sell it once you get back! I used it to move all my stuff over here and have an LHD car now and would dearly love not to have to drive it back just to sell it.

Thanks for the tips - turns out my Dad is keen to drive a van over from Manchester, he thinks it will be scenic and a mini-holiday. More like miles and miles of autobahn, horrible sandwiches and speed cameras but who am I to put him straight?
