Any takers, as in the bowling interest group?

Talked to the manager/owner at Isar, Sundays would be good, as Fri/Sat are always fully booked; Bingo Bowing & Moonlight bowling are a big draw. We could get some sort of deal, free shoes or something, would need to work out the details. They do a special Sunday tombola type of thing on Sundays where you can win money, if you're lucky. You get a los if you get a strike on a colored head pin, etc.

Anyone wantto take a stab at organising this? I am really swamped at work, but could still try to arrange some special deal with Isar management, if someone else sets a date and starts shilling for people, etc.

Unfortunately I can't organize anything here, as I don't speak German. As an American I was told Spanish would be the most useful...not my fault I swear.

I would love to go bowling again. My gf will be in China for a few weeks, so I might be going alone if someone does organize.

Personally, the 27th looks like a good date.

Just come across a problem with the kids bowling.

I took my eldest today to Isar Bowl and I was told he was too young. 8 is the youngest allowed.

I was in Salzburg last week watching a 4 year old bowl there so I guess it must be at the discression of each alley but we need to check this if we want to do a kids bowling.

I guess drunken 20-somethings who fall over onto the lane are OK, but 6 year-olds who want to learn the game are not... rolleyes.gif

Pas, missed you last night in Bad Aibling. Did you get my PM?

I won't organize anything until the missing people pay up. You know who you are ph34r.gif
But if anyone does organize the next event please start a new discussion under Meet Ups.

Did the bad debts ever got resolved?
