Democrats abroad?

Is it open to independents and Republicans?
dennisgod
Hello sirchirol

Well I can say that ALL of those who will be attending on Friday (25-30) are either committed Democrats, Independants who are completely fed up with Bush or recovering Republicans who have seen the light. cool.gif

If you have an open mind then you would be welcome to get informed but we are not looking to persude any "dyed-in-the-wool" types whose attitude is "my mind is made up - don't confuse me with the facts" and begind sentances with "according to FOX News ...". If you are looking for Republicans Abroad in Stuttgart - sorry - after many years heading up Stuttgart, the local Chair decided that he could not stomach the position any longer and the Stuttgart group voted to dissolve its relationship with the Republicans Abroad.

That was an awfully insulting and one-sided response to someone who was just interested in discussing elections and wanted to politely see who the group was open to. If it represents the level of discussion then I have to say I'm now rather disinclined to come.
