Thursday 8.May.2008 @ Kleine Elserhalle

Tickets Available Here

White Rabbits, Guillemots, and Loney, Dear are performing at the low, low price of 18 euros a head. I'd pay well over that to see White Rabbits on their own, let alone with two other excellent bands.

If you haven't already, check out the Rabbits' album "Fort Nightly", which is one of my very favourite releases from last year.
berny
loney, dear were my band of 2007 without question. saw them at the iceland airwaves festival. fantastic. will be all over that show.
Genie
White Rabbits were one of my favorites of 2007, I second what RL says, would definitely pay more just to see them.

So, navy wives, whatcha waiting for?
RebellionLies
Bump.

I'll probably be going provided there's still tickets left on the door.
oh lordie
Does anyone know what order the bands will be playing in?

Are Guillemots topping the bill?
berny
Its kinda confusing. cant find a consistant line up anywhere and no one in the elserhalle is answering...

as far as i can figure, theyll play in this order:

White Rabbit (US)
SOKO (FR)
Loney, Dear (SWE)
Guillemots (UK)

OR

Loney, Dear
Soko
White Rabbits
Guillemots

ah fuck it who cares. come early and see.
RebellionLies
I don't plan on missing any of them. Doors open at 7.30, right?
berny
according to Propellers website doors are at 19:00.
RebellionLies
Muenchenticket has it at 7.30. In Muenchen has no idea and has put 8pm down for some arbitrary reason.
berny
id tell you if i could - one of the guys working the show isnt answering (probably thinks im looking for guestlist biggrin.gif )

its not going to be *that* full in any case...
Boba
The Elserhalle site has it as doors open @ 19:00 and start 19:30.

München Ticket says tickets probably on the door. Worth taking a chance methinks.
RebellionLies
It ended up not being that busy at all, but a great show nonetheless.
berny
agreed.
Lassie
I thought Soko was absolutely nuts, although touched by a little bit of genius.

All others were pretty good, nothing amazing. I think that White Rabbits were the best of the rest.

Susprised it was so empty though.
the_cat
The Guillemots are shite. Crap name, dull band.
Mrs Peel
Didn't know you were going Lassie... we would have used our tickets if we'd known... ah well :-)
Boba
White Rabbits were defo the best. Soko didn't do a great deal for me and Lonely Dear were OK. The Guillemots weren't bad but were obviously disappointed with the lack of audience, especially as a lot of 'em went after LD.

I walked through the Kustpark on my way there and there was something going on in the Tonhalle. Loads of concert kids there which explains a lot.

Long night that with four bands an' all...
RebellionLies
Yeah, Kettcar *le sigh* were playing at the Tonhalle.
