I was at atomic cafe for a gig last night, and I wasnt impressed.

sound system crap, bad accoustics, and bar men who had to look up how to make a long island ice tea.

not a place I will be visiting again

I saw The Cooper Temple Clause at Atomic Cafe a few months ago and the sound seemed OK to me. Mind you, I'm not exactly an acoustics expert. As for the bar staff's cocktail-making skills, I can't comment because I was drinking beer. As you do.

Anyway, whatever. I've got tickets for OCS, so if anyone else decides to go, despite Pootle's negative review of the venue, reply here for a meetup.

The OCS gig is postponed until January, if you didn't know.

You could go to see Iron Maiden (!) or Muse on that day instead (24.10.03).

Cheers, I didn't know about that. Hopefully I would've found out before actually turning up at the venue, unlike when I tried to see Starsailor a while back and they'd cancelled it without telling anyone.

According to their website, the entire european tour has been cancelled.
If you've got tickets you can get your money back from wherever you bought them...
