Celebrity painted Easter eggs for auction

This could be the perfect Easter gift for someone...if giving Easter gifts is the kind of thing you do.

Cooking website Starcookers are auctioning off Ostrich eggs which have been painted by celebrities such as Heidi Klum, Xavier Naidoo and Franziska van Almsick, amongst others.

All money raised will go towards the financing of cooking courses for children. The cause is called "Kinder an den Herd" and was co-founded by Eckart Witzigmann (who also donated an egg). The auction ends on Sunday!

Personally, I'm going after Dr. Sabine Piller's ovum.



In fairness, most of the artwork they've done is pretty crap with a couple of exceptions. Still, they might be of interest to some.

Edit: don't see his work on the Ebay link, so I guess he wasn't involved after all. Perhaps he didn't have the balls.
