Hi there, I'm in the Trier area but I'm a student so I don't know the first thing about employment here. Don't know much about cooking either! Unless we're talking curry, my husband takes care of cooking. Curries are the only thing I make...they're probably not even curries, just curry-inspired dishes
Would Luxembourg be an option for you? I'd imagine there would be more demand for French cuisine there... you did mention in another post something about French cuisine, right?

Yes! I'll cook!
I need a job, guys. I'm bored.
Turas- I can cook anything. I just use French techniques. Lux would be a long commute for me.

Ok! Party @ my house!
I have two kitchens! And for anyone that drinks too much, I have 6 bedrooms! (Yep, a big house for a girl and her dog...+kitty cat!)

Oh...I may have two kitchens, but they are poorly equipped as I am not the most domesticated haus frau. Bring your own pots and pans, but I do have a garlic press!

@ Cheftai, French techniques...! that sounds posh! What kind of meals do you cook with these foreign techniques?
Ashley, two kitchens are better than one?! I'm not sure I need one whole kitchen never mind two!
I on the other hand am very proud of myself today, managed to make a pancake which wasn't completely tasteless...yeh, progress!
Maybe you could have a job teaching Ashley and I to cook at Ashleys house, and we'd even have a kitchen each to wreak havoc in!!! Not sure anyone could teach me though, get very stressed in kitchen when people are expecting me to produce something edible. But it would be worth a try!

Basically, whatever the family wants.
I just cook. I love to do it. I waited 10 years to go to cooking school.
Now I'm a hausfrau.
If you guys want to learn a few things, I'll teach you.
Just know I'm serious about it.(cooking)

I'm so bad I might take you up on that! I was even considering going to the Volkshochschule here to learn a few basic dishes. I'm that bad! Well if you're planning to come to Trier someday let me know, we can meet up for a coffee or something.
I'd be interested to hear how you spent the ten years before going to cookery school...I waited ten years to go to college

Tura, I spent 20 years in the US Air Force. I was in for 10 years before I decided what I really wanted to do was cook. I finished my 20 and went directly to school.
I'm in Trier a lot. I'll let you know when I'll be down next.
