Hi

Can anybody guide me, to find a good Mexican Restaurant in Munich ?

I would prefer vegetarian food. So if you could also let me know to taste any particular dish then it would be awesome.

Cheers ...

Go to Tacyo & Tequilas

and have the Tacos Vegetarianos especially the Nopales con Queso (Cactus trips with cheese)

If you get off at the S bahn station 'Isartor' and take the exit towards 'Deutsche Museum'. Once you come out of the Sbahn you can see a 'Discounted Backerie' (Discounted Bakery) on the other side of the road. TO the left you can see a mexican restaurant. I enjoyed my vegetarian food out there!! Specially Chimichanga, Burtos etc.. All are nice

During weekdays there is a mini dinner meal till 7pm for 5 Euro. It is quite filling if you are not a big eater:)))

Enjoy!

Quesadillas are one of my favorites. Sometimes they put extra stuff like chicken in, though, so make sure it is a veg. quesadilla.

The best one in Munich is "Tacos y Tequila". There is another little mexican restaurant just across the street but Tacos y Tequila is way better.

Paquenos on LucileGrahn str (also a Lehel location- but never been to that one) has the widest selection of food for veggies in Mexican restuarants in Munich... and the portions are not super small like what I find at Taco n Tequilas (still not sure why people waste their money there).

Joe Penas Cantina y Bar = Buttermelcherstraße 17 = mouth watering veggie dishes.

There is a good one right by Candiplatz U-bahn. sorry, I can't remember what it's called. Don't order the "chips and dips" though unless you are happy to get paprika flavoured tortilla chips. That annoyed me actually, but the rest of the food was lovely.

Across the street from Tacos y Tequillas is El Patio. Both are run by guys from Mexico, both make excellent authentic food and drinks and neither would dream of paprika flavor chips!

Tacos y Tequillas is more "bistro" style if that makes sense, more German clientele and great (i.e. killer strong) happy hour margaritas

El Patio is more "mama style" food - bigger portions as well, definitely more "latino" clientele and a great tequilla selection.

Hm, I'm getting hungry now. ...
