Hi, I am looking for this bar and was wondering if anyone had any idea of where it may be? I don't have a phone number or address only a tip that it is a place that I should really check out. Has anyone around here ever heard of it? On a side note does anyone know of any Absinthe Bars in the Frankfurt area? I've always heard about this curious stuff and it's culture and would really like to see if it is truly as gothic as it all seems.

The Patience Bar is in southern Nordend, between the U-Bahn stop Musterschule and Friedberger Landstrasse on the other side, pretty central really. It's on Koselstrasse:

Have not been there but have heard about it's reputation regarding Absinthe etc... Supposed to be a pretty cool place

I have been there many years ago. Cannot comment on the Absinth though I probably only had beer or something.

What U-bahn line is that? I can't seem to find it on the map that I'm looking at, only Friedberger Platz which is on an s-bahn line. Thanks for all your help.

Musterschule is on the U5 line. Friedberger Platz is a stop on either the 12 tram or the 30 bus. Musterschule is defo the nearest stop to the bar I think

Get the number 12 tram or the 30 bus to (unsurprisingly) Friedberger Platz...

Well I live off the U5 so I'll probably take a minute after work one day to go and check it out. sort of had a brain freeze there, I go around musterschule quite a bit, just never really was looking for it.
