Meet ups for nannies and au pairs in Munich

I know there is a really old topic about Au Pairs socialising together, but I was wondering if there are any Au Pairs currently living in or around Munich who would like to meet up, with or without the kids? I'm moving to Munich at the very end of March, and would love to catch up with people who are doing a similiar thing to me!

There are bunch of aupairs that go to the under 25's meet ups. Most of the aupairs from that old thread left.

We have a Munich facebook group as well. I'm in it. I also know a fair few Feel free to bug me about Au Pairy things or meeting up.

Hey. Gonna be in Garmisch, about an hour south of Munich, next month. Maybe I can make some day trips up to Munich and meet up with some of you. I hear its pretty lonely the first couple of months, so it would be great to meet some other english speakers (especially if you're from California).

Hi! My name is Anthea, I'm 17. I'm staying in Munich over the summer for around 2 months and taking care part time of a 5 year old.
Sadly enough, I haven't actually ever taken a German class in my life, and as such, my German is shit. And by shit, I mean non-existent. NOT an exaggeration. (well, I can swear a bit...)
Anyhow, I'd love to have a chance to meet up with some English speaking people, partly to retain my sanity, and partly because I don't know anyone there.
Any advice on dealing with language barrier? Good places to eat? Interesting sites to see? Desperately needed words I should learn?
Anything would be helpful!

I don't have any plan for this weekend at the moment, except Sunday before noon. I think I'm likely to make it if anyone fixes the time for our meetup

I get in around June 16 or 17, and I'm up for doing something sometime after I get the tram system figured out, meet my charge, and know my way a little bit.
