Hello there..
Does anyone know a good dermatologist in Dresden?
I tried with one on Hauptstrasse, but I'd like to try another doctor.
Thanks a lot.

I don't know if he's especially good but he was friendly. Additionally what he had prescribed me helped:

I saw one on Haupstrasse too. I wanted him to look at some spots I thot might be skin cancer. He looked at the two spots and that was all! At home my derm'st goes over my whole body with a magnifier. What's up with that?? The Germans seem to be soooooo cautious about everything~ stay in bed for a week for a cold. Why don't they take Skin Cancer seriously?

I went to see the one on Hauptstrasse as well and was far from satisfied with how I was treated.
Sorry I don't have anything constructive to add to this though...

Don't remember a name - was a bit too panicked at the time and just wanted to be fixed!
Went to the one above the Markthalle. I was actually recommended to go there as a friend of mine had been to a female dermatologist there a few years ago and found her really good. But when I went there a male doctor examined me.

I have in the past visited Dr.Gerlach about the Markthalle and I found her extremely professional. I got a full skin check done there with UV lamps and size measurment of the suspect freckles etc.
I found her good.
It was supposed to be Dr. Gerlach because she speaks English, but when I got there I had to see her associate. ( Dr. Hallmann?) He was nice but doesn't speak very well so it was difficult. I was trying to explain that I had previously had some sk and I think he was talking to me about a biopsy..and we made another appt. but I'm not exactly sure why. Damn! I hate not speaking German.
BTW. How are you, Deccie?? I'm a little less culture-shocked these days.. LOL
