Hi all, was wondering if any of you has gone to either Colon or Sprachfix and would like to share the experience? I would prefer one which is less expensive but ofcourse, quality is very important. I need to join for the evening courses e.g. from 7pm onwards. Thanks in advance

I did a class at Sprachfix two nights a week and I thought it was okay. I preferred the intensive class I took at Tandem but that was 5 days a week during the week, and quite expensive. The class at Sprachfix was much more reasonable, and I would take another class from them in the future.

For what it's worth, I know a few people who have gone to Colon and thought it was a great school. I don't know much about the price tho.

Hi c4th,
I went to Colon for 2 months in the intensive day course. I thought the school was excellent, and not too expensive. I would recommend it, however I cannot compare to another school.

I love Colon. I did one month of the intensive 5x5 afternoon class last summer (€375) and another two months this winter in the 5x5 intensive morning class (€420). Both times I had excellent teachers and great students. I'm taking a break for one month right now and I will definitely go there again, even if they are more expensive than VHS. Colon is great in that they let you sit in a class for free to try it out before asking you to sign up for anything.

Hi!!
I went to Colon for a month and a half and I totally hated it!! My teacher was terrible, the classes were slow, he was the only onde to talk...then I changed to Sprachfix...I've been there for a year now, and I really like it.
