Hi all,
I'd appreciate any information on where I can reliably purchase a SIM card for making phone calls while in the U.S. I purchased my phone there so I know it works on the US GSM frequencies. I also know that one can usually buy a SIM card or rent a phone at the airport, but again the rates are exorbitant and I think it's safe to say that it's a rip-off.
Thanks!

T-Mobile in the US offers pre-paid cards for something around $50 worth of traffic; they have stores all over the place. Bear in mind that you pay for incoming calls as well as outgoing ones so fifty bucks doesn't go a long way!

OK. Yes, I think one always paid for incoming calls in the pre-paid scheme in the US. Thanks!
