Yes actually, Cyn I did ask her not to come. I asked her privately..
I stand by my decision on that one. some uncofortableness was expessed to me by a few and I decided best to not have a whole group made uncomfortable by one..
Of course everyone is welcome and I leave it to amanda to mend fences in how she chooses.. I (we) of course have no malice towards her but I think for now it was best to ask her not to come. I apoligize if this seems harsh

Hard Rock Cafe sounds cool, but no sushi for me... For something totally random there is HoteLux - it's a Russian style bar all done up Soviet style! i would be into joining you as well, and i think the hotelux sounds really cool i really like trying new restaurants (eating is like, my second favorite activity) so i might even make the suggestion we do this on a semi-regular basis and have a little culinary tour of cologne... but that's getting a bit ahead of myself. for now, i am excited to join you on this girls-night-out, and hotelux sounds good to me!

Well I can't link to a map (not for lack of trying though!) but it's in Von-Sandt Platz in Deutz. It's literally 3 mins walk from the U-Bahn station Köln Arena lines 3 and 4. Alternatively you can go to Bahnhof Messe/Deutz and (I think) just follow the arrows underground to the U-Bahn station Köln Arena. We could all meet at the U-Bahn station!

@dr kaykay Im sure someone will get onto you, I cant as im on the opposite side of Deutz from the city so i would be making my journey longer going into the city. Unless you can make it to bahnhof Deutz/Messe, I can meet you there.

Kay where will you be coming from ( ie train station?) and we can work something out no problem..

I can get to Köln Deutz/Messe which is the closest station to the restaurant. I mean S-Bahn station and not the U-Bahn. Just had a quick check for times and the connections either get in at 5.35pm or 6.06pm (I looked for closest to 6pm). Are we booking the table for 6pm?!?! the restaurant looks easy to find so I think I could make it on my own...am a big girl after all

Oh god yeah! I was gonna mention times! It is best to get there before people start coming in for drinks. I reckon if we say 6:30 it's early enough that there will be space for a large group and it will also give people time to get lost, figure out where they are going and meet other people who are lost! We shouldn't need to book a table, last time I went was around that time to eat and it was almost empty! It fills up quickly though and then we will have a table for drinkies afterwards! Also we don't know exactly how many will be coming...

So I suggest we meet at the ARENA U-Bahn station; not the Messe! On the U-Bahn line 3 and 4 there is the station Köln Messe, which is connected underground to Köln Messe/Deutz, the S-Bahn station. The next stop after the Köln Messe is the one we want Bahnhof Deutz/Kölnarena - it always confuses me! But like I said you can walk from Köln Messe/Deutz to Kölnarena - or simply jump on an U-Bahn one stop!
