Evening all, i hope im not repeating whats been asked before, but i did a looooong search & didnt find an answer to my specific question.

I recently bought all the kit to set up a sat dish. As usual, theres a claus in our contract saying we cant MOUNT dishes of the building, so i used a terracotta pot, large wooden stake & large bag of cement to construct an ideal, sturdy post to mount it from.

We cant 'see' the Astra2d sat from our balcony (only about half the dish has a clear line of sight) so we decided to set it up for Nilesat 101 instead (theres about a dozen english channels on there). But after many attempts im just not getting anything. Ive got a compass & signal strength meter & also used Sat alignment website but i just cannot find any sort of signal!! sad.gif

Does anyone know an engineer/technician in the SE area (Treptow/Neukoln/Kreuzburg) that would come around to align our dish. Someone who speaks english would be a bonus, but not critical.
