Bilinguals needed by large media house in Berlin

We are looking for some bilingual freelancers for a German to English 90 day newspaper project.

- Freelancers could work 3 to 7 days per week for up to 90 days (possibly longer, if project is successful)
- work would include translating from German to English, some editing/summarizing and publishing the English articles on a large German media site
- the work could be done partially at night and or weekends (but not necessarily so)
- you will be trained in the use of the content management system (CMS) for online publishing
- you will also be trained in search engine optimized writing
- you will also be trained in the use of web analytics software (Omniture, Google Analytics)

Requirements:
- native speaker of English (!)
- near to perfect knowlegde of German (project would involve normal journalistic articles, no specialized technical/legal knowledge is needed)
- some writing / journalism experience
- ability to work independantly and swiftly (speed of getting work done is an issue here!)
- ability to work between 3 and 7 (your choice, we will need to cover 7 days a week, 9 to 6, with the team of freelancers)
- willing to work weekends and maybe some night hours

I am perfect in German and English as i studied and worked in England from 13 to 25, writing is not my speciality but i do some for ... mostly indymedia... or other similar sites.

I always have a lot of contact with poeple when i work: party booking, promotion, biketaxi, hosting, i have just qualified as a Heilpraktiker but am delaying the active practicing of healing arts for financial reasons.

My CV consists of:
German school and Gymnasium,
English boarding schoolfor 4 yrs.
college etc for 4yrs. incl. Travel adn Tourism GNVQ
childcarer for 4 yrs.
3 yrs studies of herbal medicine back here in Berlin, during which i taught some English and did some translation.
until 3 months ago now im looking for satisfying, rewarding work and thought ill write to you.

I expect to earn 120 euros for 8h working freelance.

I.too, am interested in this osition My writing is primarily reviews ( here in Berlin for the Likes of Louiseville Records) .
I have written programmes or Radio in London and though not trained as a journalist I have performmed as a free lancer at times in this capacity.

I am out of New York City , lived in Berlin in the 90's , then in London,. I am now permanently based back in Berlin. I am a Native English speaker with good German Skills.
