Confirming a job interview appointment in German

I've been offered an appointment to go for a job interview next week. I need to write back an RSVP confirming that the offered appointment time is acceptable for me. My German is fluent, but written German is another matter entirely, and I don't want to make any dumb sounding mistakes. Can anyone help me please? I want to say something like:




Does that sound okay?

I don't think you should call her a so und so, that's not very nice is it?

vielen Dank für Ihr entgegengebrachtes Interesse an meiner Bewerbung für die Stelle des ________________.

Gerne nehme ich Ihre Einladung zu dem Vorstellungsgespräch an und freue mich, Sie am _______ persönlich kennenzulernen.

Nope, it is quite alright. After "Mit freundlichen Gruessen" you can leave the comma away.

If people are using this as a template, they should remember 'für die Stelle des' normally will be followed by a masculine noun and the masculine noun will need to agree with the genitive - s, or sometimes -es.

If the job is a feminine noun the des should be replaced with a der.

e.g. für die Stelle eines Geschäftsführers/einer Geschäftsführerin.

Or if your religion forbids you to observe the genetive case just use "die Stelle als ..."
