Ok, this one's for the all the crafty girls (boys, you're invited too, but I'd be awfully surprised if you're interested).
I've been planning a girlie gathering to get together and drink some wine and make jewelry (specifically necklaces). A friend of mine has asked if I would like to turn it into a combo Tupperware party, and I thought why not? Sooo, who's interested?
The only downfall is that I live out in the sticks in Ismaning, so people would need to either arrange a carpool or bring their bikes (I live an easy 10 min. ride from the Bahnhof). There is also a Sammeltaxi (free) that goes from the Bahnhof to one block from my house and runs every two hours on the weekends. It's quite convenient if you plan ahead. So, who's up for the trek?
I ask for a 5 Euro contribution from those interested in making jewelry (for beads, wire/thread, clasps, etc.); though if you're not interested in the jewelry, you can still come for the Tupperware/wine. I'm thinking that, since nothing is planned for that day, Saturday, Nov. 20th would be a good day for it. I will provide some wine and a couple snacks, though more is always welcome!
Those interested in making jewelry, please let me know before Friday, Nov. 5th. I order most of my supplies on ebay, so I'll need to know how much money we've got to work with in time to allow for delivery. When I get home this evening, I'll post some pictures of necklaces that I've made recently, so you can see what type of jewelry I've got in mind. If you want to make anything other than necklaces (i.e. matching earrings), please let me know so I can purchase the appropriate supplies.
Everyone who comes will receive this 1.4L bowl with lid as a free gift (whether or not you buy any Tupperware):

I hope to see you there!

Yay, some takers!
@nilpferd
Like I said, I'll post some examples of what I've made recently; though you can, of course, make them as crazy as you like. I'll make sure and try to take into account everyone's preferences (color, bead size, whatnot) when I purchase supplies.
If you like, check out what's on ebay.de the week before the 5th (Möbel & Wohnen -> Hobby & Künstlerbedarf -> Perlen & Pailletten or just do a search on "Perlen" or "Edelsteine," but make sure that the "Edelsteine" auctions say "gebohrt!" Also, ignore the "Pailletten" auctions, because those are beads without holes meant for gluing onto things). I'm happy to take recommendations.
Alternatively, you're welcome to skip the 5 Euro contribution and bring a couple different kinds of beads to contribute. You can buy some at
Perlenmarkt or the other shop mentioned in
Jewelry Making Shops & Bead Stores.
Are hook-style earrings ok with you?
@everyone
I tend to use beads absolutely no bigger than 6mm in diameter, and usually even smaller. If you like chunky beads, make sure and let me know. I will be paying attention to any preferences specified!

I might be up for this too, depending on the date, cause I´m not in town for the second half of november.
I will drive with my car from the airport to Ismaning.
So perhaps I´m able to give some of u a lift from the S-Bahn station/Ismaning to IPJ´s home and back (if u still trust in my driver skills after some glasses of wine)

Ok folks, here are the photos I promised:

While some of these might look like it, none of them are chunky. The largest beads are probably the tiger-eye ones, and they're only 4mm in diameter.

I just realized that I made a mistake earlier:

Pailletten are sequins. Strasssteine are the beads for gluing onto things.

I would be interested in coming along. I like arty things. Will you be doing anything with semi-precious stones - I love turquoise, for example? Sorry, I'm not into Tupperware - prefer to say that upfront - I have a very small kitchen which is already overflowing ...
Anyway I could bring along a bottle of wine and some tacos for example and I would be driving from south of Munich if anyone near here wants a ride.

I'll keep an eye out for some turquoise. I've already got some adventurine, malachite, hematite, onyx, tiger-eye, amber chips, garnet, russian jade and lapis lazuli among other assorted beads (many of which are in the picture above). I've also got some Swarovksi beads in a few different colors.
Aside from what I buy on ebay, I will probably also go to the
Perlenmarkt the day before to get additional beads. Anybody is welcome to join me on that trip.

Ok, girls, I've got a question. I've had some people say that the 20th is not good. Rubber Duck, I'm assuming that this means you, too.
Would it change anything for anybody if I moved it to Saturday, Nov. 13th (one week earlier)?

Hey,
I don't know yet about the thirteenth, since apperently, there is a trip to the Schloss on that day. I'm also not sure if I could make it anyway.

If there will be a next time I´ll be up for it.

Ok, then 13th is out -
20th it is.
So far, the TT contribution to the event will be Hellcat, toast(?), nilpferd, Nicky and Winegirl (is that just cuz I mentioned wine?

). There will also be at least a couple of my colleagues coming.
Anybody else is welcome to join - forget about letting me know by the 5th, because there'll be plenty of supplies.

Anybody is welcome to come, even at the last minute. I'll have plenty of supplies. If you need directions, just PM me. There is at least one person driving, so perhaps some people can carpool.
I haven't set a time yet, so let's say about 18:00. See you Saturday!
